American Idol Season 11 winner Philips Philips released his 2nd single titled “Gone, Gone, Gone” on Radio last month. The song was on the “Bubbling Under Chart” on Billboard when his debut album “The World from the Side of the Moon” was released on November 19, 2012. It peaked at #12 there. The song then debuted at #100 on Billboard Hot 100 and is now #59 on its 2nd week.

Here is a song by American rapper Flo Rida,  “Whistle” taken from his fourth 2012 studio album,  ’Wild Ones.’ The track was released as the third single from the album on April 24, 2012.  ”Whistle” was written by Flo Rida in collaboration with David Glass, Marcus Killian, Justin  Franks, Breyan Isaac and Antonio Mobley, with DJ Frank E and Glass handling the production. It is a guitar-driven pop rap song with a whistling melody and lyrically contains sexually suggestive lyrics. “Whistle” continues to soar, moving now at no.3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Critics generally praised its pop sound and “catchy” hook, although it received negative fedbacks from several critics for its lyrics. According to her,  via twitter, her new album was currently in the works and set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2012. “Roman in Moscow” debuted at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US on the week ending December 17, 2011.
